Sedona Celebrates National Day of the Cowboy!
This rootin’ tootin’ celebration begins Friday, July 25th and continues though Sunday, July 27th! But the BIG fun is Saturday the 24th, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM!
Come enjoy “a whole lot of cowboy goin’s on”! See live performances of gunfights, roping, storytelling and historical re-enactments. Listen or dance to country music. Watch cowboys and cowgirls strut their stuff throughout town, and see amazing western art. This free event is presented by Sedona Main Street Program with the “Red Rock Posse” and area businesses.
This is the 10th year Sedona has celebrated National Day of the Cowboy and the tradition keeps going strong! There’ll be cowboy action shooting, roping, musical revue, cowboy poetry, bull whip cracking, costume contest, country western music, plus western art & trades demonstrations.
Make El Portal Sedona Hotel your place to stay for all the “cowboy” activities! We have a couple of “cowboy-inspired” rooms – the Molesworth, the Flat Rock Hickory and even the Grand Canyon! Staying in one of these rooms is sure to get you into the Day of the Cowboy spirit! El Portal is a pet friendly hotel in the heart of Sedona. “Our mission is to meet each guest and help them plan their stay,” Segner says. “At our boutique hotel we don’t just hand them a room key. We want to make a personal connection with our guests, and have
them make a personal connection to the area.”
***Remember – El Portal is a pet friendly hotel without any pet fees!!!
