This 40 year old tradition is for the young and old alike! It is Sedona’s longest and most loved holiday tradition. This year it “lights up” on Saturday, December 8th from 3:00-8:00 pm. At exactly 5:00 pm the tower bells will signal the lighting of 6000 luminarias by excited visitors and residents. Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village is an Arizona and Southwest landmark and has entertained and delighted Festival of Lights participants from all over the US and world!
Admission is free and all of Tlaquepaque’s world-class galleries and distinctive shops will be open until 8:00 pm with musical entertainment, a visit from Santa, and you can ride the free trolley to Tlaquepaque from the Uptown Municipal Parking lot with continuous service.
You can remember loved ones lost to cancer, or those who are/have suffered from it by sponsoring a special luminaria for $10.00. These will be placed around the fountain at Patio del Norte. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. For more information call 928.282.4838.
