This Saturday, January 19th is the last training run for the Sedona Marathon. The training run offers participants the opportunity to experience the course before the race or just to get out and run with some friends. There will be mile markers along the course with water, snacks, and support available along the way. The run will start from the Sedona Medical Center at 8am. Parking is available on Navoti Drive and in the Sedona Medical Center Alternative parking lot.
Just over a week left for the Goldenstein Gallery’s show featuring “New Beginnings.” This amazing show features the dynamic new work of painters Lynn Rae Lowe and Marilyn Bos, and wood workers Dennis Elliot and Judd Lotts, among others. The Goldenstein Gallery is located at 390 N. 89A, Sedona, AZ. and is open daily from 10am-6pm. The show ends January 31st.
On Monday, January 21st M.I.T. Honors Graduate, Pete A. Sanders Jr., will share the latest physics that both explains how the different types of Sedona’s vortexes work and how to best access them. Included are directions to Sedona’s 8 best meditation sites and the Blood Pressure Lowering technique that Mr. Sanders has taught at both M.I.T. and to the Pentagon Meditation Club. The cost for the 90 minute program is $15, and will be held at Los Abrigados Resort. (Right next door to El Portal!) For additional information or to reserve your seat call 928-203-1589.
