Kick off fall with the Red Rocks Music Festival! September 8 – 28th at the Sedona Creative Life Center. This unique festival will feature world-renowned violinist Shlomo Mintz in a Gala Solo recital, Pianist Sandra Shapiro ” In My Father’s Footsteps- a daughter’s search for answers,” plus many other talented musicians. Friday – Sunday, September 21 – 23 is the 1st Annual Jazz It Up Sedona Festival! October 13-14, 2018 is the Sedona Arts Festival. Held on the campus of Sedona Red Rock High School, this is a favorite in the Southwest. The festival showcases 126 juried artists, the Gourmet Gallery, an international guest artist, and KidZone, as well as great music, food, and raffle prizes. Admission supports arts education in the Sedona community. Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

October 13-20, 2018 is the Sedona Plein Air Festival. Come, get creative, experience over two dozen master painters in action – making their art here in Sedona. Celebrate creativity, enjoy receptions, exhibitions, lectures, and opportunities to collect your next masterpiece. The 14th Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival is a week-long celebration of extraordinary landscapes, world-renowned artists, unique workshops, and wonderful free events.

What’s fall without Oktoberfest? Red Rocks Oktoberfest is October 20 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm, at Posse Grounds Park. Not only is there great food and live entertainment, but the festival supports many local causes and benefits the Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks and their efforts within the community. Tickets are available now for general admission, beer and food sales onsite.

Late October brings an old-fashioned arts and crafts show, the Fall Arts and Crafts Show.  All items are hand-made. Many of the artists or craftsmen only do this show or just a few other shows making their items unique and special. Do some holiday shopping, enjoy the homebaked goodies, and more! October 27,  9:00 am – 3:00 pm, at the Sedona Heritage Museum, admission is free. 

October 26-28 don’t Miss the Sedona Fall Open Studios Tour! On October 26-28 enjoy a free, self-guided event celebrating the arts in the greater Verde Valley that runs from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm daily.
