El Portal Sedona Hotel Announces Grand Opening of Sister Property
Connie’s Place features two spacious, well-equipped units that will offer guests the comforts of home and access to El Portal’s amenities.
El Portal Sedona Hotel is proud to announce the opening of its sister property, Connie’s Place. Featuring a large, fenced yard ideal for furry companions, this two-unit inn will continue El Portal’s tradition of welcoming guests and their pets. Connie’s Place has been designed in a delightful mid-century modern style, as opposed to El Portal’s Arts-and-Crafts aesthetic. El Portal Sedona Hotel prides itself on creating a retreat environment where guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the distinctive red rock landscapes, and this extends to Connie’s Place. Owners Steve and Connie Segner’s mission has always been to evoke a sense of peace and calmness for all their guests, two- and four-legged alike.
“We actually want all our guests to have an exceptional non-hotel stay where they can meet other guests and locals for a true Sedona experience, whether it is at the hotel or at Connie’s Place,” said Segner.
The one-bedroom unit at Connie’s Place features a spacious living area, a comfortable full bath, and a refrigerator and microwave. It sleeps up to four people, with a queen bedroom for two and a comfortable fold-out sofa bed that sleeps two in the living area. The two-bedroom unit also sleeps four, with a queen bed in each bedroom, and a lovely bath. The large, fenced backyard has a grill and is shared between the two units. Guests will, of course, be able to avail themselves of the famous breakfasts at El Portal, the nightly snacks, and the enchanting fire pit. They will also have access to a full gym, two swimming pools, and basic spa privileges at Los Abrigados, just a five-minute walk away.
Steve is passionate about his job and the chance to interact with all of the guests that visit El Portal. “I meet about 3,000 interesting people every year. It’s a great job!” he said. Segner knows that it is the personal touch that distinguishes El Portal and that he has an impact on those who choose to experience Sedona the “El Portal Way” — and now Connie’s Way. For those travelers, Sedona is a treasured memory.
For a limited time, Connie’s Place guests will receive a $30 food credit for El Portal Sedona Hotel!
